​I often work with theatre and film makers, co-developing concepts and writing/performing the music or sound design.  Below a few examples of my work from different projects.
Den Minste Engelen at Det Norske Theatret, directed by Rebekka Nilsson.

This is one of my most recent works, with my long standing collaborator, Norwegian theatre director Rebekka Nilsson. I composed the music and made the sound design mostly consisting of electronic live processing of the sounds of the actors on stage and the trombone performance of one the actors, Kidane Gjølme Dalva.

Amongst the bigger productions that I have taken part in are:
Bloos - an immersive audio performance made in collaboration with Marte Bonenschansker produced in cooperation with Het Huis Utrecht. A collection of 10 intimate interviews made by Marte with 10 women ranging from ages 15 to 100, about intimacy and what it means to them to be a woman. Each interview is 30 minutes and is intricately underscored with its own composition of subtly layered clarinet textures, harmonies and melodies. The production toured the main theatre festivals of the Netherlands in 2018. It has gotten 4 stars in the Theaterkrant and enthusiastic responses from the audiences as well as being nominated for the prestigious BNG Theaterprijs. For tour dates check HERE
Het Verband Van Alles met Alles - by Collectief Walden.
A location theatre performance weaving together scientific research on warmth and the environment. I was asked to compose and perform the music together with baritone Dominic Kraemer. This show premiered on Oerol 2018 and went on to perform at Over het IJ festival 2018. It will be performed at Den Bosch in 2019, date t.b.a. More about this performance HERE
